In a bold move to strengthen its leadership in the generative AI and digital transformation space, Accenture (NYSE: ACN) has announced a major overhaul of its organizational structure, effective September 1, 2025.
As part of this strategic transformation, the company has appointed Manish Sharma as its first-ever Chief Services Officer. Sharma, a 29-year Accenture veteran and currently the CEO of the Americas, will lead a newly created integrated business unit called Reinvention Services.
This unit will unify Accenture’s five major service groups, Strategy, Consulting, Song, Technology, and Operations, into a single streamlined entity.
The creation of Reinvention Services marks a pivotal shift in Accenture’s growth model. The new structure is designed to accelerate the development of integrated, AI-driven solutions and improve the company’s ability to deliver measurable value to clients at speed and scale.
With the rise of generative AI and growing demand for end-to-end business transformation, Accenture believes that this integrated model will enhance its ability to embed data, AI, and automation across all of its services more effectively than ever before.

Manish Sharma brings deep operational and strategic experience to his new role. Under his leadership, Accenture’s North American region generated $30 billion in revenue in fiscal year 2024.
Previously, he served as the company’s Global Chief Operating Officer and Group Chief Executive of Operations, where he led the development of SynOps, Accenture’s proprietary platform that blends AI, data, analytics, and human expertise to optimize business processes.
Sharma is also a member of Accenture’s Global Management Committee.
Accenture Chair and CEO Julie Sweet emphasized the significance of the changes, stating,
“Today, our clients need more value faster, and Accenture is their reinvention partner of choice. These changes to our growth model will allow us to deliver that value and continue to scale our business by being an even stronger engine of reinvention that more rapidly delivers the power of Gen AI. We are writing the playbook for how to be the most AI-enabled, client-focused professional services company in the world, and a great place to work for our people, our reinventors.”
Alongside Sharma’s appointment, Accenture also announced key leadership changes across the organization. John Walsh, currently the company’s Global Chief Operating Officer, will succeed Sharma as CEO of the Americas.
Kate Hogan, presently the COO of the Americas, will take over as Global Chief Operating Officer. Kate Clifford, the current Chief Human Resources Officer for the Americas, has been promoted to Global Chief Leadership and Human Resources Officer, succeeding Angela Beatty, who is stepping down.
Within the newly formed Reinvention Services division, several other leadership appointments were confirmed. Muqsit Ashraf will continue to lead Strategy.
Jason Dess, currently leading CFO and Enterprise Value, will become Group Chief Executive of Consulting, replacing Jack Azagury, who is leaving the company.
Ndidi Oteh, currently heading Song in the Americas, will now lead the global Song business.
Rajendra Prasad, the current Chief Information and Asset Engineering Officer, will become Group Chief Executive of Technology and Chief Technology Officer, replacing Karthik Narain, who is also departing. Arundhati Chakraborty will continue as Group Chief Executive of Operations.
Despite this consolidation of services, Accenture will maintain its go-to-market strategy by industry and will continue operating through its three geographic markets, Americas, EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa), and Asia Pacific.
The restructuring is aimed at enhancing coordination and delivery across geographies while fostering innovation and agility.
The announcement comes as Accenture looks to solidify its position as a global leader in enterprise reinvention, especially in the wake of rising demand for generative AI and digital-first transformation.
With the launch of Reinvention Services under Sharma’s leadership, the company is positioning itself to lead clients into a new era of intelligent, AI-powered business solutions.
