She established virtual care programs beginning in 2013 to expand access to specialized cardiac care for patients living far from major medical centers.

Bhatt was also an associate professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School. She completed her undergraduate education at Harvard University and earned her medical degree from Yale School of Medicine, followed by advanced training in internal medicine, pediatrics, cardiology and adult congenital heart disease.

Her appointment reflects the growing convergence of wearable technology, preventive health and clinical care. At WHOOP, Bhatt will help translate everyday health data into insights that can support both individuals and healthcare professionals.
