In a testament to her extraordinary leadership, compassion, and dedication to pediatric care, Dr. Arundathi Reddy has been named the recipient of the prestigious 2025 Ruth Olive Beall Award by Arkansas Children’s Hospital (ACH).
The award, named after ACH’s second superintendent, is one of the institution’s highest honors, given to a physician who embodies ACH’s core values of safety, teamwork, compassion, and excellence.
Leadership Role at Arkansas Children’s Hospital
Dr. Reddy currently serves as the Chief of Pediatric Anesthesiology at ACH and holds a professorship in anesthesiology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS).
Since joining the ACH team in November, she has led the pediatric anesthesia division with a focus on elevating patient-centered care in both surgical and non-operative settings, including MRI suites, interventional radiology, and radiation oncology.
A Legacy of Leadership and Compassion
Upon receiving the award, Dr. Reddy expressed deep gratitude, attributing the honor to the collective effort of her team.
“To be honored with such an award is actually not just mine, but it is the work of my team,” she said.
She specifically recognized the vital roles of her colleagues, anesthesiologists, certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs), residents, and nurses, highlighting the collaborative spirit that defines ACH’s care model.
“We’re here to take care of children, to provide the kind of care we’d want for our own,” she added, underscoring her deeply personal and ethical approach to pediatric medicine
