The American South Asian Network (ASAN): Empowering the Diaspora

American South Asian Network is a national nonprofit organization focused on empowering young South Asians in the U.S. through business growth, civic engagement, community involvement, and cultural celebration.

“There are over 6 million South Asians in the U.S., many of whom quietly make a difference in their neighborhoods, hospitals, schools, and shelters,” said Nitin Bajaj, co-founder of ASAN. “The Volunteer Excellence Awards are our way of ensuring their impact is seen, honored, and amplified.”

“The greatest impact often begins with a single act of kindness,” said Lyra A, co-founder and Youth Director at ASAN. “We’re thrilled to celebrate those who care enough to give their time.”
